Trading leveraged tokens on the spot market

According to https://academy.binance.com/en/articles/a-beginners-guide-to-binance-leveraged-tokens-blvt:

Binance Leveraged Tokens (BLVTs) are tradable assets on the Binance spot market.

So why in the exchange info do I only see:

"isSpotTradingAllowed": false

For all leveraged tokens? Can these be traded via the API on the spot market?

Please try to login via UI and see if you could trade leveraged token from there.

Then it’s easy to trade these token just like the spot symbols by API.

Hi,

I’m getting this error:
BinanceClientException: {“code”:-2010,“msg”:“This action disabled is on this account.”}

when I try to buy LINKDOWN.

Altough in the UI, as you’ve said, I can trade it.

Can you tell what’s going wrong please?

Oh you’re right. Turns out I can’t even trade BLVT’s because I’m in Australia, which is currently restricted. Time for a re-think :thinking:
