Testnet 502 bad gateway error help

Hey everyone,

I’m new to this community, and to algo trading with a bot, as well as python.

My issue started last night. I was getting a 502 bad gateway error while trying to backtest a strategy. I realaize after searching the forum that this usually happens when the testnet is being reset and deployed. It seems the testnet was reset on the 5th of last month so it adds up.

I’m having a further issue this morning where I am no longer getting the 502 bad gateway error. I’m just not getting any historical data anymore.

Is this because the reset testnet is being deployed still? Maybe because the testnet doesn’t have any historical data on it yet?

Thanks for any insight you guys may have for me.

Hello,

Indeed there’s a monthly reset with no specific day of reset, but it’s always in the beginning of the month. When it happens, all the past orders are erased, which can explain the missing historical data. You can see the change log on the Testnet page: https://testnet.binance.vision/.
