I am looking at Low Latency Services on Binance Futures | Binance and see that there are significant improvements in latency that can be had in the websocket market data stream. How can I get access to this market stream without being a designated market maker? Currently I see that often the latency between event timestamp and receipt timestamp of my ticker/trades is quite high (> 200ms).
To access the low-latency services on Binance Futures without being a designated market maker, you typically need to be part of a high-frequency trading group or a large volume trader. Binance primarily offers these services to clients who can significantly contribute to market liquidity, typically those involved in the Futures Liquidity Provider Program or those who meet certain VIP level criteria.
Here’s a brief outline of steps to possibly gain access or find more information:
Contact Binance Support: The first step is to reach out directly to Binance through their official support channel for Futures. You can email them at futures@binance.com for specific requests or more details on how to qualify for low-latency services.
Check Eligibility: Review your trading volume and see if you meet the thresholds required for lower latency access. These services are often restricted to users who have a high trading volume and contribute actively to market liquidity.
Application Process: If you meet the necessary criteria, you might be able to apply for IP whitelisting which is a part of the process to access these services. This typically involves submitting specific information and waiting for approval from Binance’s team.
Unfortunately, if you do not meet these criteria, gaining access to these specific low-latency options might be challenging. For more details, you can review their FAQs and support pages that provide additional guidelines and contact information:
