I have been testing the request limits the last few days, calculated my weights used and tried to make my bot as fast as possible…
The problem is that you can not reach up to the limit. Not even close.
I can use a maximum of 30% (360 request weight) without errors, 40% throws an error every few minutes.
I think i’d be fine with real 1200, but 400 is just really weak. How is the process of requesting higher limits? What are the requirements someone has to meet for that?
You mean that your request weight limit is only 400 and you are getting limitation warning from server?
That is not possible. Check that you do not have other program using the same IP also querying the server as the weight limit is done on IP-based calculation.
My bad, i just noticed that i use a request that uses 10 Weight instead of 1.
Anyways, i still am interested how the process of requesting higher limits is? What are the requirements someone has to meet for that?
