code: -1000 An unknown error occured while processing the request

I’m getting the error and I’m not too sure what the problem is.
It seems to happen intermittently which makes things all the more confusing.

An example of my request is as follows:
https://testnet.binancefuture.com/fapi/v1/openOrders?symbol=BALUSDT&timestamp=1634556040323&recvWindow=50000&signature=xxxxxx

“{‘code’: -1000, ‘msg’: 'An unknown error occured while processing the request}”

Is there any that knows what this might be ?

This is not the same endpoint as mentioned in the original post (/fapi/v1/openOrders).

If you still encounter the error, it may be due to a large amount of open orders.

Reducing your open orders will solve the issue.

I just tried this again and still appears to be an issue.
It seems more prevalent on the testnet account that it does on the true account.

Has this change been applied to the testnet also?

Oddly I had no orders at them time. I just turned on my connection and it just sat there and queried for some orders. After about 5 minutes, that error occurred. It is quite reproducible
