Are BTCETH and ETHBTC same pairs?

I use binance api and inGET /api/v1/exchangeInfo I only see the “ETHBTC” pair and not “BTCETH”.
Can anyone tell me why?

If it’s considered as a same pair how to distinguish from each other ETH to BTC and BTC to ETH?

BTCETH and ETHBTC are not the same trading pairs.

Only the ETHBTC pair exists, but that is enough to facilitate transactions between ETH and BTC. You can either buy ETH with BTC or sell ETH to get BTC, which is the same as selling BTC to get ETH or buying BTC with ETH.
