I’m experiencing a critical issue with the Binance Futures Testnet API that’s blocking our automated trading system testing. Here are the key details:

  • Endpoint: GET /fapi/v1/openOrders
  • Error: 502 Bad Gateway
  • First Occurrence: 2025-03-20 19:05:36 UTC
  • Current Status: Ongoing for 9+ hours (as of 2025-03-21 04:15 UTC)
  1. Important Context:
  • The system was working flawlessly for weeks before this error suddenly occurred.
  • No changes were made to our code or configuration prior to the error.
  • The issue affects only this specific endpoint; other endpoints are working normally.

The issue occurs consistently, even though it briefly resolves, but then continues to happen. Does Binance team are currently performing maintenance on the futures testnet?

It seems there was a temporary issue on the API side when you made that request, but it looks back to normal now.

It’s not working again! Since 2025-03-25 05:33 UTC, the same issue has been occurring consistently.

I just want to confirm that this issue will not occur in the production environment.
